There IED Istituto Europeo di Design offers to students, professionals and young creatives a high quality Master Course in Animation Design. The course takes one year and is taught in English!  Plus you could save over $5200 if you are one of the first 12 applicants confirming enrollment!

Admission
There are certain prerequisites for admission: • design and visualization skills with B/W and color techniques (painting techniques); • a basic knowledge of animation: language, technique and production process; • basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite software: Photoshop (essential), Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects. (Knowledge of the English language).

IED Milano is going to award the first 12 applicants confirming enrollment by the end of December 2015 with an economic facilitation of €5.000 of the Tuition Fee. That’s approximately a little over $5282.00 in U.S. Dollars. This covers nearly one third of the annual cost of the course!

Target
The Masters course can serve as a specialization course for those who have recently completed academic programs. It also offers those looking to change career path an opportunity to update and supplement their resumes with new skills. It is intended for those with a university degree or 1st or 2nd level diploma or equivalent in the fields of Illustration, C.G. Animation, academic disciplines (Painting, Scenography, Multimedia, etc.), or else a diploma from a vocational school in the fields of comics and animation design. It is also intended for professionals with at least two years of experience who are interested in acquiring updates and a greater level of specialization.

Professional Opportunities
Participants can enter the professional field of Animation and Crossmedia/Transmedia production, which currently includes: independent production companies, research and design studios, service agencies, internal departments at broadcasting corporations,and specialized departments at Publishing Houses.

The Masters course prepares and qualifies the participants for the following positions: Concept artist, Character designer, Ambient designer, Story board (+ Layout) artist (Preproduction); 2D Character Animator; 3D Character animator; Production Assistant; Compositor (Production).
